Privacy policy

Phyntara is operated by Zelbytes Pvt Ltd (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use phyntara.com, including Google Drive copies you choose to turn on.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, password hash (not the password itself).
• Company letterhead: legal name, GSTIN, address, bank details you enter.
• Books: invoices, vendor bills, scanned photos, layout JSON, payments, IMS/2B lines you pull or upload.
• GST portal: encrypted session tokens after you enter the SMS OTP. We never ask for or store the GSTN password.
• Google Drive (optional): your Google email, an encrypted refresh token, and folder IDs for files this app creates.

Google user data

If you tap Connect Google Drive, Google shows its consent screen. We request only drive.file (files created by Phyntara) and your email. We do not request access to your existing Drive files.

We use that access only to:

• create a Phyntara folder on your Drive;
• copy sales PDFs, vendor-bill scans, layout JSON, and filing-pack zips into month folders you can see;
• update those same files if you save the bill again.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not give it to other apps. Copies sit on your Drive; the Google password is never stored. You can Disconnect on Letterhead; we revoke the token and delete our stored Drive login. Files already on your Drive stay until you delete them.

This use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use.

GST and scans

Vendor bill photos and OCR tokens are stored so you and your CA can file from Phyntara. Scans also copy to your Drive when Drive is connected. GST OTP sessions are encrypted at rest. We never auto-file GSTR-3B.

Hosting and sharing

Data is hosted on our servers (currently a VPS used for phyntara.com). Your CA sees what you invite them to see for the same company. We do not sell books or scans.

Retention

We keep account and books data while the company uses Phyntara, and as needed for tax records you asked us to hold. Drive copies follow your Google Drive retention. You may ask us to delete the Phyntara account; GST records you must still keep under Indian law.
